Pet Health Club Marketing Manager

We are looking for a Pet Health Club Marketing Manager to join us in our mission and drive the growth of our Pet Health Club subscription offering across the UK and Ireland.

Within this role, you’ll have the opportunity to set annual marketing plans for the growth of our Pet Health Club, and through the creation of client acquisition and retention strategies, will work with our wider marketing and product teams to implement data driven activities and measure the impact to the business.

Day to day, the Pet Health Club Marketing Manager will be involved in:

 
Developing annual marketing plans to ensure we achieve growth plans for our monthly subscription service – Pet Health Club (PHC), implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns. 
Creating strategies to drive client retention & acquisition rates, working with the CRM and Acquisition team to ensure we build and maintain lasting and profitable relationships with pet owners 
Working with the content and creative team to ensure an integrated approach to raising awareness of the plan and the critical pet health areas that it supports  
Developing & executing internal marketing campaigns to ensure that we support our practices to promote and sell PHC 
 Working with the clinic marketing team to ensure that PHC is appropriately integrated across wider marketing campaigns
Developing and executing a structured approach for gathering and analysing customer feedback to inform product refinements and marketing strategies.
Identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships with pet-related brands and services to enhance the value of the Pet Health Club (PHC) and drive subscriptions. Leverage these partnerships for co-marketing efforts that can extend reach and visibility.
Deepen the use of data analytics to predict customer behaviour, optimize marketing spend, and increase the efficacy of targeted campaigns
Keep abreast of regulatory changes affecting marketing within the veterinary and pet care industry, implementing risk management strategies in marketing plans to mitigate potential legal and compliance issues
Regular review and reporting of performace, updating activities as appropriate.


Ideally, the Pet Health Club Marketing Manager will have:


Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Significant experience in subscription marketing
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing plans and campaigns, particularly in a B2C environment.
Strong background in full marketing mix including SEO/SEM, PPC, social media, content marketing, and email marketing.
Strong numerical and analytical skills to interpret market data and financial information to make informed decisions.
Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems and data-driven marketing decisions.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a matrix team, manage cross-functional projects, and work collaboratively across departments.
Experience in managing budgets, vendors, and agency relationships effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for internal collaboration and external communications.
Ability to present ideas effectively and negotiate with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
Familiarity with analytics tools and the ability to translate data into actionable marketing strategies.
Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and consumer trends, and willingness to implement innovative solutions and technologies.
